AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING CERTAIN PARCELS OF
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS TO BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL PARK AND RECREATIONAL
AREA FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; DIRECTING
THE CITY .ATTORNEY TO BRING CONDEMNATION PRO-
CEEDINGS AGAINST SAID PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSM.
SECTION 1. The following described parcels of real pro-
perty situated in Pulaski County. .Arkansas, are hereby condemned for
the purpose of constructing a park and recreational area for the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas and the City Attorney is hereby ordered
and directed to file in the proper courts a condemnation proceeding
against the following described parcels of real property situated in
Pulaski County, Arkansas.
North West quarter (NW4) of the North East quarter
(NA), Section 26, Township one North, Range 13
West, containing 40 acres.
This property appears to be owned by David McKay Greer
(1/5 interest), and Dane Manson Greer & wife Mary Elizabeth.
"Part of Lots 10 through 21, Block 7, and Lots 9
through 21, Block 8, Westwood Heights Addition,
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
containing 5.54 acres."
This property appears to be owned by H.C. JohnJon.
The property hereinabove described is necessary for the
purpose of establishing, improving and creating a park and recreational
area for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is further authorized to
secure an order of the court allowing the City to take immediate
possession of the properties hereinabove described upon the posting
of a bond in an amount to be determined by the court. The City
Attorney is authorized to have posted on behalf of the City a bond
in an amount to be determined by the court pending final determina-
tion of the condemnation proceedings.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall be
