ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF MANNEY
STREET (FORMERLY SECOND STREET) BELLEVUE ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES:
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the 21st day
of June, 1966, requesting the Board of Directors to vacate and
abandon that portion of Manney Street (formerly Second Street)
Bellevue Addition to the City of Little Rock running North and
South from Iowa Street on the South to the North line of Lot
16, Block. 16, and Lot 9, Blocs: 1, Bellevue Addition extended
as designated on the plat of said addition now appearing of re-
cord in Plat Boob: 1, Page 251, in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has at the time and place mentioned in the notice
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the street herein described has heretofore been
dedicated to the public use as a street has not been used by the
public generally for a period of at least five years subsequent
to the filing of the plat,- that all of the owners of the property
abutting upon the portion of said street to be vacated have filed
with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandon-
ment; and that the public interest and welfare will not be adversely
affected by the abandonment of such street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby re-
leases, vacates, and abandons all of its rights together with the

rights of the public generally in and to the street designated
and described as follows:
That portion of Manney Street (formerly
Second Street) Bellevue Addition running
North and South from Iowa Street on the
South to the North line of Lot 16, Block
16, and Lot 9, Block 1, Bellevue Addition
extended,
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
street.
SECTION II. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the Deed Record Book of the County.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
