AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $25,000.00 FROM
THE 1965 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND FUNDS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING CERTAIN ENGI-
NEERING AND APPRAISAL FEES AND EXPENSES;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the engineering work for numerous pro-
jects undertaken under the 1965 Capital Improvement Bond Pro-
gram has commenced and is progressing under and pursuant to a
contract executed between the City of Little Rock, and Garver
and Garver, Inc., which contract was authorized by authority
of Resolution Number 3429; and
WHEREAS, certain appraisals are now being made and
others will need to be made in connection with the acquisition of
Right -of -Way for the several projects to be undertaken under the
1965 Capital Improvement Bond Program; and
WHEREAS, the expenses necessarily incurred for
engineering work and appraisals are becoming due and funds
should be made available for payment of said fees and expenses.
NOWT, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
1965 Capital Improvement Bond Funds the sum of $25,000.00 to
be used, from time to time, in payment of proper charges for
engineering and appraisal work done under the 1965 Capital Improve-
ment Bond Program.
SECTION 2. When and as approved estimates and charges
are made and submitted by the persons performing engineering work
and providing and furnishing appraisals required and requested
under the 1965 Capital Improvement Bond Program the City Manager
and Director of Finance are authorized and Directed to pay said
charges and estimates from the sum appropriated in Section 1 here-
of and to issue the necessary warrant or warrants.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
