ORDINANCE NO. 111,756
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN
LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION 343, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH,
RANGE 13 WEST, IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING
A PORTION OF STURBRIDGE SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on May 139 1966, upon the Petition of
Rector- Phillips- Morse, Inc., and others, being a majority
of the owners of all the property affected, and owning well
over one-half of same, after due notice of hearing on said
Petition for the time and in the manner prescribed by law,
ordering the annexation to the City of Little Rock of the
following described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
Part of the Wk NEk; Part of the East 330 feet
of the SEk NWk, lying North of Rodney Parham
Road; and, part of the NWk SEk; all in Section
34, Township 2 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as: Beginning at the SW corner NWk NEk, of
said Section 34; thence North 00° 17' West,
300.00 feet along the West line of the NWk NEk,
Section 34; thence South 89° 44' East, 484.21
feet; thence North 09° 30' East, 24.75 feet;
thence South 80° 30' East, 230.00 feet; thence
South 09° 30' West, 140.00 feet; thence South
05° 37' East 266.70 feet; thence South 26° 12'
East, 278.65 feet; thence South 14° 47' East,

of beginning, which is 972.36 feet South of
the center of Section 34; thence South 89° 59'

East 310.00 feet to a point on the southerly
right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road; thence
North 46° 29' West, 473.19 feet along the
southerly right -of -way of Rodney Parham : Road;
thence continue along the southerly right -of-
way of said Rodney Parham Road, North 24° 35'
50" West, 541.66 feet to the West line of said
SEk, Section 34; thence South 00° 17' East
917.80 feet along the West line of said SEk
to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the
entry of said Order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no person, firm or corporation has instituted any
proceeding in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or
elsewhere, to prevent such annexation, and no protestants have

appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review,
set aside or appeal from the said Order of the County Court;
and
WHEREAS, said above described lands are contiguous to
and adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 'IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting
through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the annexa-
tion of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the incor-
porated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of the
lands described hereinabove in this Ordinance.
SECTION 2. It is further ordered that said lands be, and
they are hereby, assigned and attached and made a part of the
Fifth Ward of said City of Little Rock.
