ORDINANCE NO. 11,748
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF CERTAIN
MEDICAL EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE TREATMENT OF
WILLIAM C. HILL AN EMPIDYEE OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK FOR INJURIES SUSTAINED IN THE COURSE
OF EMPIDYMENT; APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SUCH
PURPOSES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, William C. Hill was injured in the course
of employment with the City of Little Rock and has incurred
substantial medical expenses in the treatment of said injuries
which expenses appear to be near $1,500.00, and
WHERE", it is the policy of the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock under the circumstances existing that
the City of Little Rock defray the costs of medical treatment
to William C. Hill and it is necessary to appropriate moneys for
the purpose of paying the said expenses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to pay to the person or persons
appearing entitled thereto up to but not in excess of the actual
medical expense incurred by William C. Hill in treatment of
injuries to his person while performing his duties as an employee
of the City of Little Rock with specific reference to the injury
sustained by Mr. Hill to his hand as the result of its being
crushed by a Sanitation truck.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
balance in the General Fund the sum of $1,500.00 to budget account
"Sanitation 5.2 Injuries ".
SECTION 3. Sub- section (37) F.2 of Section 3 of Ordinance
11,680, same being the budget ordinance of the City of Little Rock,
:Arkansas, is hereby amended to read as followsr

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
