ORDINANCE NO. 119732
AN ORDINANCE .AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NUMBER 11,722 APPROVED MARCH 21, 1966, SAME
BEING AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING CERTAIN LAND FOR
PARK PURPOSES; AUTHORIZING AN UNDIIENT TO PLEADINGS
HERETOFORE FILED BY THE CITY .ATTORNEY; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
fiNCTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 11,722 approved
March 21, 1966 is hereby mMended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. The following described parcel
of real property situated in Pulaski County, .Arkansas,
is hereby condemned for the purpose of constructing
a park and recreational area for the city of Little
Rock, Arkansas, and the City attorney is hereby
ordered and directed to file in the proper courts
a condemnation proceeding against the following
described parcel of real property situated in Pulaski
County, Arkansas:
All that part of the North ;I SE 4 Section 19,
T -1 -N, R -12 -W Pulaski County, .Arkansas, lying
south of the center line of Fourche Creek,
North and East of Lakeview .Addition to the
City of Little Rock; and North and West of
the North right -of -way line of the Missouri
Pacific Railroad, more particularly described
as follows:
Starting at the SE corner of the NE 4, SE
Section 19, T -1 -N, R-12-W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, run N 89 degrees 58 minutes
W 64.47 feet along the South line of the N
SS 14 said section, to a point on the North
right -of -way line of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad (point of beginning); thence continue
N 89 degrees 58 minutes W 687.79 feet along
said South line to a point on the East Addition
line of Lakeview Addition; thence N 0 degrees
13 minutes 40 seconds E 460.00 feet to a
point; thence N 51 degrees 57 minutes 40 seconds
W 288.15 feet to a point; thence run N 69 degrees
26 minutes, W 720.60 feet to a point; thence
run N 38 degrees 31 minutes 30 seconds W
131.00 feet to a point, thence N 67 degrees
21 minutes 04 seconds W 478.14 feet to a point;
thence N 6 degrees 14 minutes 24 seconds

right -of -way line of the Missouri Pacific

W 102.25 feet along said right -of -way to the
point of beginning, containing 19.24 acres
more or less.
All that part of the SE 4, SE 1 Section 19,
T -1 -N, R -12-W Pulaski County, Arkansas,
lying North and East of the North right -of -way
of the Gum Springs Road and West of the North
right -of -way line of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad; containing 3.16 acres more or less.
This property appears to be owned by Worth James.
The property hereinabove described is necessary for the
purpose of establishing, improving and creating a park
and recreational area for the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The amendment to Section 1 of
Ordinance 11,722 more specifically set forth in Section
1 hereof is executed for the purpose of correcting an
error in the legal description of the property and
following approval of this ordinance, the City Attorney
is authorized to ilme-nd,1-1. any and all pleadings filed by
him in the furtherance of Ordinance 11,722 to reflect
the corrected description set forth in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval, and all
ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
