AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF FIRE HYDRANTS WITHIN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE YEAR 1966; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Whenever the Chief of the Little Rock Fire Depart-
ment, with the approval of the Arkansas Fire Prevention Bureau, shall
select locations within the City of Little Rock for fire hydrants
deemed necessary for adequate fire protection for the City of Little
Rock and requests the Board of Water Works Commissioners of the
Little Rock Municipal Water Works to install same, the said Board of
Water Works Commissioners shall have full authority to install said
hydrants and charge rental therefor as hereinafter provided.
SECTION 2. The rates for hydrants installed under this Ordi-
nance shall be as set forth in Section 501, Article V, of the Trust
Indenture dated February 1, 1964, between the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, and Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict
with this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
