A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME OF TOWNSEND
STREET TO HIGHLAND DRIVE. (G -25 -192)
WHEREAS, an application was filed by James E. Hathaway, Jr. and Pfeifer
Family Limited Partnership 92 requesting that the name of Townsend Street be changed
to Highland Drive; and
WHEREAS, the applicants own the majority of the property abutting Townsend
Street, and
WHEREAS, at its September 9, 2004 meeting, the Little Rock Planning
Commission voted to recommend approval of the requested street name change by a vote
of 7 ayes, 0 noes and 4 absent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The name of Townsend Street is hereby changed to Highland
Drive.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and the City Manager is hereby directed to notify all departments of said
change.
