ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
-LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING WEST
THIRTEENTH STREET IN BLOCKS 1 AND 2, COV S SUBDIVIS-
ION OF TAYLOR AND BODEMAN'S SUBDIVISION, LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 18th day of April, 1967,
asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of the part
of West Thirteenth Street in Blocks 1 and 2 of Cox's Subdivision of
Taylor and Bodeman's Subdivision, City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
designated on the plat of said subdivision now appearing of record
in Deed Book 1, Page 24, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public utility easements
in said street'; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law .,the Board of
Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard
all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the street, hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedica-
ted to the public use as a street, as herein described; that all of
the owners of the property abutting upon the street to be vacated
have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such
abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be ad-
versely affected by the abandonment of such street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF -LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the street designated as follows:
That part of West Thirteenth Street lying between University
Avenue and the alley 121.0 feet to the west .thereof, Little
Rock, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Block 1, Cox's Subdi-
vision of Taylor and Bodeman's'Subdivision, Little Rock,
Arkansas; thence West along the north right -of -way line of
West Thirteenth Street to the Southwest corner of Lot 10,
Block 1, of the said Cox's Subdivision of Taylor and Bode -
man's Busdivision; thence South to the south right -of -way
line of West Thirteenth Street ; thence East along said
south right -of -way line of said West Thirteenth Street to
a point opposite the Southeast corner of Block 1, Cox's Sub-
division of Taylor and Bodeman's Subdivision; thence North
to the point of beginning
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
street.

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
