ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE STREET ALL THAT PORTION OF
WEST 17TH STREET WITHIN BATEMANS ADDITION TO_THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK ADJACENT TO LOT #6 BLOCK #7 AND LOT #2 BLOCK #10 ALSO THAT
PORTION ADJACENT TO LOT #5 BLOCK #7.AND LOT #1 BLOCK #10 OF SAID
BATEMANS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE SOCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 10th day of March,l9679
asking of the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all the street
of that Portion of West 17th street within Batemans Addition to the City
of Little Rock adjacent to Lot #6 Block #7 and Lot #12 Block #10 also
o that portion adjacent to Lot #5 Block #7 and Lot #1 Block #10 of said

the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, Subjent,

Whereas, after due notices as required by law, the Board of
Directors has at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all
persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that
the street, herein before described, has hasstofore been dedicated to
the public use as a street, as herein described; has not been actually
used by the public generally for a period of at least ten (10) years
subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the
property abutting upon the Streetto be vacated have filed with the
Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and that
public interest and w8lfare will not be adversely affected by the
abandonment of such street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DRRECTORS OF Z E
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arksn sas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the street designated as follows: All th at

Little Rock adjacent to Lot #6 Block #7 and Lot #12 Block #10 also
that portion adjacent to Lot #5 Block #7 and Lot #1 Block #10 of
said Batemm s Addition to the City of Little Rock, aubject however,
to any public utility vaao#ents located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall befiled in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
BEMON 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in Force
from and after its passage.
