AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SLIM OF
$13,670.00 FROM THE 1965 CAPITAL IMPROVE-
MENT CONSTRUCTION FUND - PARKS AS A PART
OF THE PURCHASE PRICE FOR WEST END PARK,
PROJECT 65 -P -85; AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT
OF $100.00 FOR A SIX MONTHS' OPTION TO
PURCHASE SAID PARK SITE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owners of real property proposed for use as
a park, Project No. 65 -P -85, have agreed to give the City a six
(6) months' option to purchase said property for a total cost of
Fifty Thousand and N01100 Dollars ($50,000.00) provided the City
will pay a consideration for said option of One Hundred and N01100
Dollars ($100.00) which is to be credited on the purchase price
should the City exercise said option; and
to.
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase the option referred
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Capital Improvement Construction Fund the stun of Thirteen Thou-
sand Six Hundred Seventy and N01100 Dollars ($13,670.00) to be
used together with other funds heretofore appropriated for the
purchase of property to be identified as West End Park, Project
65 -P -85 and for the purpose of purchasing a six months' option
to acquire said property. The said property is identified by
parcel number as 65 -P -85 in the Real Estate Department of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. Upon receipt of the option referred to in
Section 1. satisfactory to the City Manager and subject to
approval by the City .Attorney as to form, the City Manager and
Director of Finance are hereby authorized to purchase the option
herein identified.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
