AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUR OF
$1,150.00 TO BE USED AS CONSIDERATION
FOR AN OPTION TO PURCHASE PARK SITE
PROJECT C65 -P -60 (HALL COVE); AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owners of real property proposed as use
for a park in Hall Cove and identified by Project as C65 -P -60
have agreed to give the City six (6) months option to purchase
said property for a total consideration of $50,000.00 provided
the City will pay a consideration for said option in the amount
of $1,250.00 to be credited on the purchase price assuming the
option is exercised by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase the option
referred to.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKAN SAS .
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
1965 Capital Improvement Construction Fund - Parks the stun of
$1,150.00 for the purpose of purchasing an option giving the
City of Little Rock the right to buy certain real property
situated in Hall Cove proposed for use as a public park at a
total purchase price of $50,000.00. Said property is identified
by Parcel Number as C65 -P -60 in the Real Estate Department of the
City.
SECTION 2. 'Upon receipt of the option satisfactory to
the City Manager and subject to approval of the City .attorney as
to form the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized to pay the sum of $1,250.00 for the option to purchase
the property herein identified.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
