AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $10,000.00
FROM THE 1965 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION
FUND TO PROJECT 65 -P -78 (GUK SPRINGS PARK) TO BE
USED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SAID
PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has received the sum of $15,215.00
as a Federal Grant to be used as part of the purchase price
and development cost of the Gum Springs Party Project 65 -P -78,
and such funds have heretofore been deposited and credited to
the account of the 1965 Capital Improvement Construction Fund;
and
WHEREAS, an additional appropriation in the amount
of $10,000.00 is now needed to be applied on the cost of
construction and development of said Park.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, :ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
1965 Capital Improvement Construction Fund to Project 65 -P -78
(Gum Springs Park) to be used in defraying some of the cost of
construction and development of said Park the sum of $10,000.00.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
