AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $17948.21 TO
BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCT-
ION COST FOR A PORTION OF WOODROW STREET BETWEEN SEVENTH
AND EIGHTH STREETS PURSUANT TO A CONTRACT AUTHORIZED
BY RESOLUTION NUMBER 3619; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the estimated contract price based on unit price
bids all as provided for by contracts set forth in Resolution Number
3619 for constructing a portion of Woodrow Street between Seventh
and Eighth Streets in the amount of $16,844.70 as it develops was
low by the sum of $1,948.21 and that an appropriation is needed to
supply the additional funds to pay the actual contract cost in the
amount of $18,792.91.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the Street
Right -of -Way Fund the sum of $1,948.21 to be used for the purpose of
paying the balance due Bituminous, Inc., on the contract for work and
materials furnished in the construction of a portion of Woodrow Street
between Seventh and Eighth Streets in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
