AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 25 OF
SECTION 43 -1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
SAME BEING A DEFINITION FOR "EDUCATIONAL
INSTITUTION" AS RELATES TO ZONING IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
public or parochial or founded or conducted by or under
the sponsorship of a religious or charitable organization,
or private when such Junior College, college or university
is not conducted as a commercial enterprise for profit.
Nothing in this definition shall be deemed to include trade
or business schools or colleges.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Subsection 25 of Section 43 -1 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Little Rock is hereby amended as

of instruction substantially equivalent to the courses

sion to college or universities which award B.A. or B.S.
degrees; a Junior College, college or university, either
public or parochial or founded or conducted by or under
the sponsorship of a religious or charitable organization,
or private when such Junior College, college or university
is not conducted as a commercial enterprise for profit.
