BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSASt SECTION 1. The following described parcels of real property situated in Pulaski County, Arkan for the purpose of constructing a park and the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the ordered and directed to file in the proper proceeding against the following described situated in Pulaski County, A,rkansast Bas, are hereby condemned recreational area for City Attorney is hereby courts a condemnation parcels of real property S*Uft half of the Southwest quarter (SWh) of the Northeast quarter (1004) Section 26, Township 1 North,, Range 13 West, containing twenty (20) acres, which property appears to be owned by A. Herndon and Mary Flossie Herndon. The property hereinabove described is necessary for the purpose of establishing, improving and creating a park and recrea- tional area for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. SECTION 2. The City Attorney is further authorized to secure an order of the court allowing the City to take immediate possession of the properties hereinabove described upon the posting of a bond in an amount to be determined by the court. The City Attorney is authorized to have posted on behalf of the City a bond in an amount to be determined by the court pending final determina- tion of the condemnation proceedings. a E- y f � r -2- SSCTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
