ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING
A PORTION OF A ROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 18th
day of October, 1966, asking the Board of Directors to va-
cate and abandon a portion of the road right -of -way located
within the City of Little Rock and described in the Warranty
Deed recorded in Deed Record 324, Page 112 of the records
of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the
Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in
the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the
question and has ascertained that the road right -of -way
hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the
public use as a roadway, as herein described; has not been
actually used by the public generally for a period of at
least five (5) years subsequent to dedication; that all of
the owners of the property abutting upon the portion of the
right -of -way to be vacated have filed with the Board of
Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and
that public interest and welfare will not be adversely af-
fected by the abandonment of such roadway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights,
together with the rights of the public generally, in and
to the portion of the road right -of -way described as
follows:
The portion of a road right -of -way along the
west line of and in the NEB, Section 27, T -2 -N,
R -13 -W, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the NE'k, said
Section 27; thence run NO0131W, 2,244.9 feet along
the west line of NEB, said Section 27 to a point
being 25 feet west of the southwest corner of Lot 11,
of an unrecorded plat of Robinwood Subdivision;thence
East, 20.0 feet; thence SO0131E parallel with the west
line of NEk, 2,245.2 feet to a point on the south line
of NEB, Section 27; thence N89013'W along the south
line of said NEk, 20.0 feet to the point of beginning;
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in
said road right -of -way.
SECTION 2: This.Ordinance is enacted under and pursuant
to Sections 19 -3814 and 19-3815 of Arkansas Statutes, 1947.
SECTION 3. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the
County.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
