AN ORDINANCE ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A GIFT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $295.15 FROM THE LITTLE ROCK
OPTIMIST CLUB TO BE USED FOR MAINTENANCE OF
THE LOCOMOTIVE. IN THE KIDDIE ZOO; APPROPRIAT-
ING SAID SUM OF MONEY FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND FOR 1968; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors for and on behalf
of the City of Little Rock and its citizens, hereby acknowledge
receipt of a cash gift from the Little Rock Optimist Club in the
amount of Two Hundred Ninety Five and 15/100 Dollars ($295.15)
to be used for the purpose of maintenance of the locomotive in
the Kiddie 'Zoo at War Memorial Park. Said sum of money is hereby
appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund
in the budget of the City of Little Rock for 1968 to be used for
the purposes herein set forth.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors hereby individually
and for and on behalf of all citizens express their sincere and
heart felt thanks to the Little Rock Optimist Club for this gift
which will be used for the maintenance of the locomotive in the
Kiddie Zoo, a recognized asset which brings great pleasure and
enjoyment to all citizens.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
