ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING POTTER AND GILMAN BLMVEM 23rd
AND 24th PINE HILL SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
,WHEREAS) a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 25thday of January 1958, asking the
Board of Directors to vacate and abondon all of POTTER and GILRtAd between
23rd an&Ltth streets, PINE HILL SUBDIVISIONi to the City of Little flock, as
designated on the'plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book
292, Page 319, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
subject, however, to any public easements in said streets; and
WHEREAS, after dus notices as required by law, the Board of Directors
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring
to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the streets hereinbefore
described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street,; as
herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period
of at least five (5) yea.rssubsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the
owners of the property abutting upon the streets to be vacated have filed with the
Board of Directors Their written consent to such abondonment; and that public
interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abondonment of such
streets;
NUN, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION.1. The,City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates
and a.bondens all its rights, together vrith the rights of the public generally,
in and to the streets designated as follows:
POTTER street between 23rd and 24th street
GILAIAN street between 23rd and: 214th street
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said streets.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk,
shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded
in the Deed Records: of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
