ORDINANCE NO. 129019
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN
LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION 343, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH,
RANGE 13 WEST, IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING A
PORTION OF STURBRIDGE SUBDIVISION, PHASE II
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on December 11, 1967, upon the Petition of
Rector- Phillips-Morse, Inc., and others, being a majority of
the owners of all the property affected, and owning well over
one -half of same, after due notice of hearing on said Petition
for the time and in the manner prescribed by law, ordering the
annexation to the City of Little Rock of the fD llowing described
lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
Part of the NEk, Section 34, T -2 -N, R -13 -W in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more particularly
described as follows: Begin at the NW corner,
NWk NEk, Section 34, T -2 -N, R -13-W, which is on the
present city limits line of Little Rock and the North
line of said Section 34, thence South 89° 44' E, 661.91
feet along the North line of said Section 34 and
present city limits line; thence South 00 17' E, 200.00
feet; thence South 13° 00' E, 205.83 feet; thence
South 29° 00' E, 186.99 feet; thence South 9° 30' W,
482.46 feet to the present city limits of Little
Rock; thence North 80° 30' W, 230.00 feet along the
present city limits of Little Rock; thence South
90 30' W, 24.75 feet along said city limits; thence
N 890 44' W, 484.21 feet along said city limits to
the West line of NEk. Section 34 and city limits;
thence North 0° 17' W, 1027.24 feet along said city
limits and the West line of NEk. Section 34 to the
point of beginning; containing 17.031 acres, more or
less.
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since
the entry of said Order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no person, firm or corporation has instituted

any proceeding in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
or elsewhere, to prevent such annexation, and no protestants
have appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review,
set aside or appeal from the said Order of the County Court;
and
WHEREAS, said above described lands are contiguous to and
adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting
through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the
annexation of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the
incorporated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of
the lands described hereinabove in this Ordinance.
SECTION 2. It is further ordered that said lands be, and
they are hereby, assigned and attached to and made a part of
the Fifth Ward of said City of Little Rock.
