RESOLUTION NO. 11,835
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR, CITY CLERK,
4 AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS
5 NECESSARY TO CORRECT PROPERTY DESCRIPTIONS IN
6 EASEMENTS CONVEYED WITH THE RIVER MARKET
7 MUNICIPAL PARKING GARAGE PURCHASE AND LEASE;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors authorized the City to enter into purchase
11 agreements and air rights leases with First Security, Little Rock Newspapers, Inc., and
12 Moses Tucker Investments for the construction of a municipal parking garage in the
13 River Market District in Little Rock, Ark. Res. No. 11,509 (May 6, 2003); and
14 WHEREAS, the leases have been executed, but the title company involved in
15 closing the real estate transactions has recently discovered property description errors
16 that require correction of descriptions in certain related easements prior to closing; and
17 WHEREAS, time is of the essence as the first closing is scheduled for next week.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
19 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Mayor, City Clerk, and City Manager are hereby authorized to
21 execute the necessary documents to correct certain easements related to the River
22 Market Parking, Garage purchase and leases.
