AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$1,500.00 FROM THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE
OF THE STREET FUND TO STREET BUDGET
ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL RIGHT -
OF -WAY FOR GEYER SPRINGS ROAD AT THE
MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD CROSSING AND
PAY DAMAGES TO ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS
RESULTING FROM THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW
ROADWAY AT SAID CROSSING; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
SECTION 1. In addition to the One Thousand and
N01100 Dollars ($1,000.00) heretofore appropriated by Ordinance
No. 11,961 for the purpose of purchasing real property from
Cleveland Addie and his wife described in said Ordinance needed
as right -of -way in the improvement of Geyer Springs Road at
Missouri Pacific Railroad crossing, there is hereby appropriated
the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred and N01100 Dollars ($1,500.00)
which together with said previously appropriated $1,000.00 shall
be paid to Cleveland Addie and his wife as full consideration
for the purchase price of said land and any and all damage of
whatsoever nature or causes of action which said Cleveland Addie
and his wife have suffered or may have as a result of the im-
proving of said roadway within the right -of -way described by
said Ordinance No. 11,961.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants payable to
Cleveland Addie and his wife for the purposes identified in
Section 1 hereof upon the execution of a Deed and Release vesting
full title to the City of Little Rock and satisfying in full any
and all damage sustained by said Grantors as a result of the im-
provement of said roadway in form and substance meeting the
approval of the City Attorney.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
