AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $23,300.00
FROM THE 1965 IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION FUND -
FIRE TO PROJECT 52 - FIRE STATION NO. 17; AUTH-
ORIZING THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS TO
INSTALL WATER MAINS AND FIRE HYDRANTS AT FIRE
STATION NO. 17; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to contract with the Little Rock Municipal Water Works
for the installation of a water main and Three (3) fire hydrants
on the new training grounds at Fire Station No. 17 at a cost not
to exceed Two Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Four and N01100 Dollars
($2,294.00). When said work is completed in accordance with
plans and specifications the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to pay the cost of such
installation from the fund hereinafter provided.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of
Two Thousand Three Hundred and N01100 Dollars ($2,300.00) from
the 1965 Improvement Construction Fund - Fire to Project 52 -
Fire Station No. 17 to be used for the purpose of payment.of the
expenses of the installation of the water mains and fire hydrants
authorized in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
