AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF A
PARTIAL TAKING OF PARCEL NO. 285 -G -109 FOR THE
EAST WEST EXPRESSWAY AT A PURCHASE PRICE OF
$5,150.00; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11,634; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors hereby determines that
there is no need for taking all of the property heretofore identified
by Ordinance No. 11,634 as Parcel No. 285 -G -109, the full legal
description for which is on file in the office of the Real Estate
Department of the City of Little Rock. The portion of said property
as is actually needed for right -of -way is also on file in the office
of the Real Estate Department of the City of Little Rock identified
by said parcel number.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors hereby approves as the
appraisal and purchase price for said partial taking of said tract of
land the sum of Five Thousand One Hundred Fifty and No /100 Dollars
($59150.00).
SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to pay by warrant of the City of Little
Rock the above purchase price for the partial taking of said parcel of
land to the person or persons entitled thereto according to the opinion
of the City Attorney so as to vest full legal title to said land in
the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 4. The authorization for full taking of said parcel
and the acquisition and appraisal therefor as provided for in Ordinance
No. 11,634 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
