ORDINANCE NO. 12,298
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 141 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than
two - thirds in assessed value of real property located within
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition
praying that an improvement district be established for the
purposes hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard
all the parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that
said petition was signed by more than two - thirds in assessed
value of the owners of real property within said territory,
now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Block 11, Pike
Addition Replat, a subdivision located in the North-
west Quarter (NW'k) of the Northeast Quarter (NEk)
of Section 23, Township 1 North, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence West along the North
property line of said Block 11 to the Northwest
corner thereof; thence South along the West property
line of said Block 11, 250 feet to a point which is
40 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot 5, Block
2, said Pike Addition; thence West along the South
property line of Lots 5 and 9, said Block 2, and
continue West along the South property line of Lot 5,
Block 3, said Pike Addition to the Southwest corner
thereof; thence North along the West property line of
Lots 5 through 1 said Block 3 to the South right of
way line of West 44th Street; thence West along the
South right of way line of West 44th Street 278 feet
to a point; thence South and parallel with Cobb Street
184 feet to a point; thence West 118 feet to a point;
thence South and parallel with Cobb Street 564.1 feet
to a point; thence East 216 feet to a point; thence
Southeasterly to the Northwest corner of Lot 12, Block
4, said Pike Addition; thence Northeasterly along the

North property line of Lots 12, 13, 14, 15 and the
West Half of Lot 16, said Block 4, to the Northeast
corner of the West Half of Lot 16; thence Southeasterly
along the east line of the West Half of Lot 16 to the
North right of way line of Asher Avenue; thence North-
easterly along said North right of way line to the
Southwest corner of Block 11, Pike Addition; thence
continue Northeasterly along said North right of way
line 295 feet to a point; thence North 070 West 290
feet to a point; thence East 274 feet to the East
property line of said Block 11; thence North along
the East property line of said Block 11 to the North-
east corner thereof and to point of beginning;
for the purposes of constructing within the district a sanitary
sewer collection system to serve the inhabitants of said dis-
trict and constructing a sewer line beyond the boundaries of
the sewer district, if necessary, to make the desired connec-
tion with the sanitary sewer system of Little Rock, Arkansas;
said purposes to be accomplished in the manner and of the
materials that the commissioners of the district shall deem
to be in the best interests of the district, and the cost
thereof to be assessed upon the real property above described
according to the benefits received.
Said district shall be known as "Sewer Improvement District
No. 141 of Little Rock, Arkansas," and Jack W. Ulmer ,
Margaret Barlow and Sam Thomas Bryant ,
who are owners of real property in said district, are hereby
named commissioners and shall compose the Board of Improvement
for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
