AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CURB AND GUTTER IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 628 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of two - thirds or
more in assessed value of the real property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purposes
hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by two - thirds or more in assessed value of
the owners of real property within said territory, now, there-
fore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
All of Blocks 1, 22 3, 4, 5, and 6, in Westwood
Heights, an unrecorded subdivision of the SEk SEk,
Section 23, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said SEk SEk;
thence West 1233.1 feet to the Northwest corner of
Lot 16, Block 1; thence South 140.0 feet; thence
West 75.0 feet; thence South 450.0 feet to the South-
west corner of Lot 5, Block 6; thence East 186.1 feet
to the Southwest corner of Lot 7, Block 5; thence
South 750 33' East 962.8 feet; thence East 190.0
feet; thence North 830.0 feet to the point of be-
ginning;
for the purposes of grading, draining, curbing, and guttering,
in such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners
for said improvement district shall deem to be for the best
interest of the district, the following parts of the following
streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:

beginning at the Northeast corner of said SEk SEk;
thence West 25 feet to the West right of way of Club
Road; thence South 140 feet to the North right of way
of Standish Road; thence West 1283.1 feet; thence
South 50 feet to the South right of way of Standish
Road; thence East 136.1 feet to the West right of way
of Thrush Road; thence South 400 feet; thence East 50
feet to the East right of way of Thrush Road; thence
North 400 feet to the South right of way of Standish
Road; thence East 276 feet to the West right of Uay
of Robin Road; thence South 471.1 feet; South 75 33'
East 51.7 feet to the East right of way of Robin Road;
thence North 484.0 feet to the South right of way
of Standish Road; thence East 276 feet to the West
right of way of Wren Road; thence South 555 feet;
thence South 750 33' East 51.7 feet to the East right
of way of Wren Road; thence North 567.9 feet to the
South right of way of Standish Road; thence East 268
feet to the West right of way of Cardinal Road; thence
South 636.9 feet; thence South 750 33' East 12.4
feet; thence East 38 feet to the East right of way
of Cardinal Road; thence North 640 feet to the South
right of way of Standish Road; thence East 177 feet to
the East right of way of Club Road; thence North 190
feet; thence West 25 feet to the point of beginning;
and that the cost thereof be assessed and charged upon the real
property above described, provided, the liability of each lot
or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as "Curb and Gutter Improvement
District No. 628 of Little Rock, Arkansas," and M. E. Tarkington,
Edward D. Herndon, and H. C. Johnston, who are owners of real
property in said district, are hereby named commissioners and
shall compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
