AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (2) A OF
ARTICLE III, SECTION 1B OF ORDINANCE NO.
10,881, SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING
A POSITION CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, BY ESTABLISHING A CLASSIFI-
CATION OF INSPECTOR IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby established the position of
Inspector in the Police Department at a monthly salary of $805.00,
and subsection (2) A of Article III, Section 1B of Ordinance No.
10,881 is hereby amended accordingly to reflect the adoption of
this new position.
SECTION 2, The Inspector shall function directly from the
office of Chief of Police and perform such duties and have such
obligations as may be assigned by the Chief from time to time.
SECTION 3. The position of Inspector in the Police Department
is immediately needed; therefore, an emergency exists and this
Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
