ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF PART OF THE
SW34, NW4, SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST,
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an Order was duly rendered and entered by the County Court of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, on July 15, 1969, granting the prayer of the
petition filed in the office of the Clerk of said Court, annexing to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, the area described in said petition and Order and
hereinafter described, a copy of said July 15, 1969 Order having been duly
forwarded to the Board of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas, by the County
Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since said Order of the County
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, was made and entered annexing said area to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and that no person has given any notice or
instituted any proceeding to have such annexation prevented:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby annexes and accepts
the area of land described hereinafter and makes the same a part of the Fifth
Ward of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, as authorized and
provided by law:
That part of the SW34, NWk, Section 34, Township 2 North, Range
13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, lying South and West of
Rodney Parham Road (herein designated Tract 1); and that part
of the SEk, NE14, Section 33, Township 2 North, Range 13 West,
more particularly described as: beginning at the Southeast
corner of said SE14, NEB; thence S 890 47' 45" W along the South
line of said SE's, NEk, 654.1 feet; thence N 00 19' 35" W, 660
feet; thence N 890 47' 45" E, 656.25 feet to a point on the
East line of said SE34, NE14; thence South along the East line of
said SE's, NE'k to the point of beginning herein designated Tract 2,
said Tract 2 being described also as Tracts 9 and 12, REFORM
SCHOOL ADDITION, in Pulaski County, Arkansas;
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk,
shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and
recorded in the Deed Records of the said County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
