AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THIRTY-THREE
THOUSAND FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($33,015) FROM
THE 1965 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND FUNDS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING CERTAIN
ENGINEERING EXPENSES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the engineering work for numerous projects
undertaken under the 1965 Capital Bond Program has commenced
under and pursuant to a contract executed between the City of
Little Rock and Garver and Garver, Inc., which contract was
authorized by authority of Resolution No. 3,429; and
WHEREAS, the expenses necessarily incurred for said
engineering work are due or becoming due and funds should be
made available for the payment of said expenses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
1965 Capital Improvement Bond Funds the sum of Thirty Three
Thousand Fifteen Dollars ($33,015) to be used in payment of
proper charges for engineering work under the 1965 Capital
Improvement Bond Program.
SECTION 2. When approved estimates and charges are
made by the persons performing engineering work under the 1965
Capital Improvement Bond Program, the City Manager and Director
of Finance are authorized and directed to pay same from the
sum appropriated in Section 1 hereof, by issuing the necessary
warrant or warrants.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
