ORDINANCE NO. 12,213
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 11,388, AS AMENDED, SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE
ADOPTING THE FIRST COMPONENT OF THE COMMUNITY
FACILITIES PLAN RELATING TO PARKS, PLAYGROUNDS,
AND RECREATIONAL AREAS; REDESIGNATING MAPS AND
CHARTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 11,388, as amended,

There is hereby adopted as the first component
of the Community Facilities Plan for the Little

Rock Planning Area and as part of the Little Rock

Municipal Plan shown on a map and chart bearing the

title "Parks, Playgrounds and Recreational Areas

of the Little Rock Planning Area," and identified
ai
as map A -6 and chart 6 -A and further identified by
the signature of the chairman of the Little Rock

Planning Commission, duly attested by the Secretary
of the said Commission and by the signature of the
Mayor, duly attested by the City Clerk, which map
and chart are dated April 21, 1969 and are on file
in the office of Community Development, City Hall,
Little Rock, Arkansas, and in the office of the
Planning Commission of the City of Little Rock and
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Little Rock. Said map and chart and all explanatory
matter thereon are hereby adopted and made a part
of this Ordinance as fully as if described herein
at length.
Said map and chart, together with such maps,
charts, documents, ordinances or orders as may from
time to time be prepared and adopted, all pursuant
to Act 186 of 1957 of the General Assembly of the
State of Arkansas, shall be known and may be cited
as the Parks, Playgrounds, and Recreational Areas
Plan of the Little Rock Planning Area."
SECTION 2. The purpose of this amendment is to include
in the Master Parks Plan the following described property situate
within the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, to-wit:
Part of the SW-'41, NEJ4�, Section 2, Township 1 North,
Range 13 West,-in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows:

Beginning at a point on the South right -of -way line
of West Markham Street in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, which is 100 feet West of the East line
of said SW-14, NEk; thence run in a Westerly direction
along the South-right -of -way line of West Markham
Street 324.8 feet to the centerline of a drainage
ditch; thence run in a Southwesterly direction along
the meanders of said centerline of said drainage
ditch to a point on the North right -of -way line of
Rodney Parham Road; thence run in a Southeasterly
direction along the North right -of -way line of Rodney
Parham Road 501.5 feet to a point which is 100 feet
West of the East line of said SW4, NEk; thence run
North parallel to and 100 feet from the East line of
said SWk, NEk, 557.4 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. A copy of this Ordinance, together with the
map and chart referred to herein, shall be filed in the office of
the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, as required by Act 186
Of 1957 of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
