AN ORDINANCE AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A PAVILION AT KANIS PARK,
PROJECT 91, APPROPRIATING $11,911 FROM THE
1965 IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR
PARKS, AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto for the construction of a pavilion
in Kanis Park, and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder
has been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to award a contract to said bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. A contract for the construction of the
pavilion in Kanis Park, Project 91 is hereby awarded to the
lowest responsible and responsive bidder as set out below.

SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Improvement Construction Fund for Parks the sum of $11,911.00.
SECTION 3. Upon completion of the contract complying in
all respects with the bidding specificatiorLs and bid proposal,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
and directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in
payment of same.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall he iCl full force and
effect from and after its passing.
