ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF PART OF THE
NE14 NEa OF SECTION. 33 AND PART OF THE NW34 NA-, SECTION
34, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an order was duly rendered and entered by
the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, on December
30, 1968, granting the prayer of the petition filed in the
office of the Clerk of said Court on November 27, 1968,
annexing to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the area
described in said petition and order and hereinafter des-
cribed, a certified copy of said December 30, 1968, order
having been duly forwarded to the City Council of Little
Rock, Arkansas, by the County Clerk of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since
said order of the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
was made and entered annexing said area to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and that no person has given any
notice or instituted any proceeding to have such annexation
prevented:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
annexes and accepts the area of land described hereinafter
and makes the same a part and parcel of the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, as authorized and provided
by law:
Part of Streets and Blocks 1, 2 and 4, and all
of Block 3, Reform School Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, also part of streets and
Blocks 12 and 13, Booker Heights Addition to the
City of Little Rock (reduced to acreage by Orders
of the County Court recorded in Deed Book 646, at
Page 590, and Deed Book 989, at Page 526), being
more particularly described as follows: Commencing
at the Southwest Corner of the East Half (Eh) of
Section 28, T -2 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
thence S 890 46' 43" East along the South line of
Section 28 for a distance of 420.0 feet; thence

S 10 05' 15" West for a distance of 69.37 feet to
a point, said point being in the South right -of -way
line of Rodney Parham Road; thence S 740 15' 20"
East along the South right- of - way line of Rodney
Parham Road for a distance of 953.26 feet to the
point of curvature of a curve to the left, said
curve having a radius of 994.93 feet, a tangent
of 130.69 feet and an internal angle of 14° 581;
thence Easterly along said curve to the left for
a distance of 259.89 feet to the point of tangency
thereof; thence S'89° 11' 50" East along the South
right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road for a
distance of 424.87 feet to the point of curvature
of a curve to the right, said curve having a radius
of 676.20 feet, a tangent of 42.58 feet and an
internal angle of 70 12' 21 "; thence along said
curve to the right for a distance of 85.04 feet
to a point in the South right -of -way line of
Rodney Parham Road said point being on the West
line of Block 1, Reform School Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the point of
beginning of the herein described property, which
property lies in the NE4 NE4, Section 33, and
NW4 NW4,.Section 34, T -2 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas; thence South along the West lines of
Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 4, Reform School Addition for
1009.1 feet; thence S 890 41' East for 528.1 feet;
thence N 10 06' West for 303.2 feet- thence S 830
30' East for 151.3 feet; thence S 16 06' East for
287.0 feet to the Southwest corner of the NW-4 NW4,
Section 34, T -2 -N, R -13 -W; thence S 890 41' East
for 330.0 feet; thence N 10 06' West for 495.2
feet to a point on the South right -of -way line of
Rodney Parham Road; thence continue N 10 06' West
for 71.1 feet to a point on the North right -of -way
line of Rodney Parham Road;. thence continue N 10
06' West for 78.7 feet;. thence N 890 39' West for
128.0 feet to a point on the North right -of -way
line of Rodney Parham Road; thence continue N 89°
30' West for 120.4 feet to a point on the South
right -of -way line of Rodney Parham; thence N 600
12' West along the South right -of -way line of
Rodney Parham Road for 94.8 feet; thence N 600
35' West along the South right -of -way line of
Rodney Parham Road for 497.7 feet; thence N 640
19' West along the South right -of -way line of
Rodney Parham Road for 80.3 feet; thence N 750 12'
West along the South right -of -way line of Rodney
Parham Road for 164.8 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the
Deed Records of the said County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
