AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PA)IENT OF OVERTIME
TO THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR SAME; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to pay, in the payroll of August
30, 1968, the overtime accruing to the Police Department in the
sum of Twenty Eight Thousand Four Hundred and No /100 Dollars
($28,400.00).
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to pay, in the payrolll of August
30, 1968 overtime to the Fire Department in the amount of
Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred and-No /100 Dollars ($17,500.00).
There is hereby appropriated from the unexpended balance of the
General Fund the sum of Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred and No /100
Dollars ($13,500.00) so that the overtime accruing to the Fire
Department may be paid.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
