ORDINANCE NO. 12,125
ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE ALLEYS
NORTH AND EAST OF BLOCK 31, C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly file3with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 29th day
of May, 1968, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon
the alleys north and east of Block 31, C. 0. Brack's Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the Plat of
said Addition, now appearing of record in Plat Book 1 , at Page 241
in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject
however, to any public easements in said alleys; AND
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the alleys hereinabove described, have heretofore
been dedicated to the public use as alleys; have not actually been
used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5) years,
subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the
property abutting upon the alleys to be vacated have filed with
the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment;
and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected
by the abandonment of such alleys.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates, and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to the alleys designated
as follows:
The alleys north and east of Block 31, C. 0. BRACK'S
ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject, however,
to any public utility easements located in said alleys.
SECTION 2: A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of the
County.

SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
