AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING A CERTAIN PARCEL., OF
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS, TO BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF.
ESTABLISHING AND PROVIDING FOR A MUNICIPAL
PARK AND RECREATIONAL AREA FOR THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK.; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO BRING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST
SAID PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION to The following described parcel of real property
situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, is hereby condemned for the
purpose of constructing a park and recreational area for the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas and the City Attorney is hereby ordered
and directed to file in the proper Courts a condemnation proceeding
against the following described parcel of real property situated in
Pulaski County, Arkansas:
South 1/3 of Lots S and 6. Block 21,
Pollocks Subdivision to Garlands
Addition, City of Little Rock, County
of Pulaski, Arkansas.
This property appears to be in the Estate of Cora Tohnson
Blackburn with Janie McKinley, Administratrix of that estate.
The property hereinabove described is necessary for the pur-
pose of establishing, improving and creating a park and recreational
area for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is further authorized to secure
an Order of the Court allowing the City to take immediate possession
of the properties hereinabove described upon the posting of a bond in
an amount to be determined by the Court pending final determination of
the condemnation proceedings.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its pa sage.
