ORDINANCE NO. 12,390
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 10 -9
AND 10 -10 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
PERTAINING TO CEMETERIES WITHIN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Section 10 -9 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Little Rock pertaining to cemeteries within the City is
hereby amended to read as follows:
'LIt shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to buy, sell or lease any lands within the City of Little
Rock for the purpose of establishing additional cemeteries."
SECTION 2. Section 10 -10 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Little Rock pertaining to cemeteries is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"It small be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to establish or attempt to establish additional cemeteries
within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas."
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
