AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE
UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND
THE SUM OF $309000.00 TO BE USED FOR
REMODELING THE PARKS DEPARTMENT OFFICES
IN CITY HALL AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
PARK MAINTENANCE BUILDING IN BOYLE PARK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the unexpended
balance of the General Fund the total sum of $30.000.00 to be used for
the following purposes and in the amounts set forth opposite the pur-
poses described:
a) Remodeling offices in the City Hall for the
use of the Parks Department . . $ 5,000.00
b) Construction of a maintenance building for the
Parks Department in Boyle Park . $25,000.00
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to proceed with the necessary planning including the invitation for bids,
if any be needed, in the making of these improvements.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
