AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 -2
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the zone classification of the following
properties be and is hereby changed as indicated.
Subsection (a)- Z -2362 - Described as Lots 2, 3, 4, 5
6, Block 4, Union Depot Addition. From: "B "- Residence District
To: "D "- Apartment District.
Subsection (b) - Z -2363 - Described as Lots 11 and 12, Block
10, C. E. Gallagher Addition. From: "B"- Residence District To: "E -1"
Quiet Business District.
Subsection (c) - Z -2364 - Described as Part of Tract 8,
West Markham Street Subdivision, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described as follows: Commence at the northeast corner of said Tract 8,
thence south 000 03' West 340 feet to the point of beginning, thence continue
south 000 03' west 284.4 feet to a point 650.5 feet north of the southeast
corner of Tract 8, thence north 880 26' west, 141.5 feet to a point on,the
east right -of -way line of Oak Lane, thence north 000 03' east along said
right -of -way line 203.7 feet; thence along an arc of curve to the right
a chord bearing of north 130 41' east and chord distance of 37.4 feet; thence
north 270 15' east along said right -of -way line 46.1 feet, thence south 890
45' east 111. 6 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.9 acres, more
or less. From: "A "- One - family District To: "C "- Two - family District.
Subsection (d) - Z -2355 - Described as beginning at a point
on the south line of the NVF Section 36, Township 1 North, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, said point being South 890 59' west, 148.9 feet
of the southwest corner of the SEA NVA4- said Section 36, thence north 392.82
feet, to a point on the south line of Interstate Highway #30; thence north
880 24' east along said south line, 293.49 feet; thence north 880 17' east
along said south line 546.31 feet to a point on the westerly line of Missouri
Pacific Railroad; thence along said line being a curve to the right having
the following chord bearings and distances; south 320 15' 30" west, 100';
south 330 22' west 100 feet; south 340 25' west 100.00 feet; south 350 32'
west 100.00 feet; south 360 28' west 106.75 feet to a point on the south
line of the Nft said Section 36; thence continue along said westerly line

thence north 632.00 feet to the point of beginning containing 10.686 acres
more or less. From: "A "- One - family District To: "I" Light Industrial
District.
Section 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 -2 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and designated "District
Map" be and it is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary
to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage and approval.
