HomeMy WebLinkAbout12342=ti ORDINANCE NO. 12,342 AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, TO BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING AND PROVIDING AN EASEMENT ACROSS SAID PROPERTY FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE LITTLE ROCK PORT INDUSTRIAL PARK SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO BRING CON- DEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST SAID PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The following described parcels of real property are hereby condemned for the purpose of establishing and providing an ease- ment for the Little Rock Port Industrial Park Sanitary Sewer System and the City Attorney is hereby ordered and directed to file in the proper Courts a condemnation proceeding against the said parcel of real property: An easement across a parcel of land located in Lots 10 and 11 of the L.P. Coleman Subdivision Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Commencing at the SW Corner, SE4, NW4, Section 16, thence N 89010'43" W 458.10 feet along the South line of Lot 12, L. P. Coleman Subdivision; thence N 1029'25" E 947.4 feet to the point of beginning, said point being on the extended North line of Lot 7, Block 14, Richland Subdivision; thence N 89022'08" W 20.00 feet; thence N 1029'25" E 532.00 feet to a point, said point being on the North line of the South 81.04 feet of the West 203 feet of Lot 10, L. P. Coleman Subdivision; thence 589010'43" E 30.00 feet along said North line to a point, said point being on the West line of Richland Subdivision; thence S 1029'25" W 532.00 feet along said West line to a point, said point being the NW corner of Lot 7, Block 14, Richland Subdivision; thence N 89022'08" W 10.00 feet to the point of beginning. Easement contains 0.37 acres, more or less. The apparent owner of the above described property is James Lasley, Trustee and upon which an easement in favor of Winrock Realty Corp. is imposed. The property hereinabove described is necessary to the public for the purpose of establishing and providing an easement for the Little Rock Industrial Park Sanitary Sewer System. SECTION 2. The City Attorney is further authorized to secure an Order of the Court allowing the City to take immediate possession of the properties hereinabove described upon the posting of a bond in an amount -2- to be determined by the Court pending final determination of the condemna- tion proceedings.
