AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF
"ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, PERMITS AND
INSPECTION DIVISION ", DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT; PROVIDING DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES THEREFOR; AUTHORIZ-
ING SALARY FOR SAID POSITION; AMENDING
IN PART ORDINANCE NO. 10,881; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The position of Assistant Director, "Permits and
Inspections Division ", is hereby created to serve the City of Little
Rock in the area of effective systematic enforcement of codes which
regulate the construction, occupancy and maintenance of buildings
and structures. Specific duties and responsibilities of this position
shall be such as from time to time are prescribed by the Director of
Permits and Inspections Division, the Director of the Department of
Community Development and the office of the City Manager.
SECTION 2. Until changed by authority of the Board of Directors,
the salary of the position of "Assistant Director, Permits & Inspections
Division ", shall be $7920.00 annually.
SECTION 3. The position of "Assistant Director, Permits and
Inspections Division ", herein provided for, shall not have Civil Service
status as authorized by law.
SECTION 4. Ordinance No. 10,881 of the City of Little Rock,
same being the Position Classification Plan for the City of Little Rock
is hereby amended to reflect the Position of "Assistant Director, Permits
and Inspections Division ", as herein provided.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
