All of the property which abuts and is contiguous to the above described streets and alleys is owned by the State of Arkansas and leased to the Arkansas Livestock Show Association except for the following described property which is presently owned by the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Lots 10, 11 and 12, Block 6, Watson Addition to the City bf Little Rock, Arkansas, and Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 7, Watson Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the Notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the above described streets and alleys have not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat and are-no longer needed or required for corporate uses or for use by the general public and adjoining owners in that other streets .and alleys are available and used for these purposes; that Petitioners are the only abutting landowners upon said - � I Ordinance No. (Page 4) portion of said streets and alleys to be vacated; and accordingly, they have consented to such abandonment, and that the .public interest.and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment thereof; :'NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD, OF DIRECTORS } OF ,THE CITY'OF .LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1 The City,of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally except and subject to the rights of public utilities as hereinafter set forth in Section 2, in and to the following described streets and alleys in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas: r ' Streets Begin at the Southwest corner of Lot 6, Block 4, Sunset Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, thence east along the north right of way line of West 30th Street to. the southeast corner of . Section 2. The rights now held by any utility company under the laws of the State of Arkansas or grants heretofore made to any such utility company the the City to occupy and use the above described streets and alleys for the location, construction, maintenance and operation of its lines, circuits, facilities and equipment for the supplying of public utility services are hereby expressly excepted from the rights hereinabove released, vacated and abandoned by the City; and the releasing, vacating and abandoning by the City of that part of said properties as are subject to such rights now held by any public utility • company. • Section 3. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk,. shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, Ordinance (Page 7) and recorded in the deed records of said County. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
