AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
LEASING OF A CRAWLER TRACTOR DOZER WITH
BLADE AND A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
CRAWLER TRACTOR BULLDOZER; APPROPRIATING
$28,917.10 FROM THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE IN
THE GENERAL FUND; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
various items to be used by the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidders have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
authorize the purchase of these items from and by the lowest
responsible and responsive bidders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids on
contracts for the lease of a crawler tractor dozer with blade and
the purchase of a crawler tractor bulldozer for the City of Little
Rock are hereby accepted and contracts awarded as follows:

SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the unexpended
balance of the General Fund the sum of $28,917.10 to be used to
satisfy the contracts authorized in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. Upon delivery of the aforementioned items, complying
in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid proposal, the
City Manager and Directors of Finance are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of
said purchase price.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
