AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWENTY -FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($25,000.00) FROM THE 1965 IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR PARKS;
SAID $25,000.00 REPRESENTING THE APPRAISAL OF CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY NEEDED FOR THE WAKEFIELD VILLAGE PARK SITE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965 Improvement
Construction Fund for Parks the sum of $25,000.00, said sum representing the
appraised value of the following described parcel of real property needed for the
Wakefield Village Park site and previously condemned by the City of Little Rock
in Ordinance 12,297:
A portion of the NE 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 31, Township 1 North,
Range 12 West, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning 962 feet North of the Southwest Corner of the NE 1/4,
NW 1/4, Section 31, Township 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas; thence East 623 feet; thence North 320 feet;
thence West 623 feet; thence South 320 feet to the point of
beginning; less and except that part described as starting at
the Northeast Corner of said NE 1/4, NW 1/4, thence West 1,291
feet; thence South 15 feet to the point of beginning; thence
run South 75 feet; thence East 150 feet; thence North 75 feet;
thence West 150 feet to the point of beginning; containing 4.33
acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
and directed to post as a bond all or part of said $25,000.00, the amount to be
determined by the Pulaski Circuit Court pending final determination of the condem-
nation proceedings.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage.
