ORDINANCE NO. 12,517
AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY
THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND
PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN CURB AND GUTTER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 628 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the majority of two- thirds in value of the property
owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected
and situated in Curb and Gutter Improvement District No. 628 of
Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading,
draining, curbing and guttering the following parts of the fol-
lowing streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of the SE4 SE4 Section 23, T -1 -N, R -13 -W,
beginning at the Northeast corner of said SE4 SE4;
thence West 25 feet to the West right of way of Club
Road; thence South 140 feet to the North right of way
of Standish Road; thence West 1283.1 feet; thence
South 50 feet to the South right of way of Standish
Road; thence East 136.1 feet to the West right of way
of Thrush Road; thence South 400 feet; thence East 50
feet to the East right of way of Thrush Road; thence
North 400 feet to the South right of way of Standish
Road; thence East 276 feet to the West right of way
of Robin Road; thence South 471.1 feet; South 750 33'
East 51.7 feet to the East right of way of Robin Road;
thence North 484.0 feet to the South right of way
of Standish Road; thence East 276 feet to the West
right of way of Wren Road; thence South 555 feet;
thence South 750 33' East 51.7 feet to the East right
of way of Wren Road; thence North 567.9 feet to the
South right of way of Standish Road; thence East 268
feet to the West right of way of Cardinal Road; thence
South 636.9 feet; thence South 750 33' East 12.4
feet; thence East 38 feet to the East right of way
of Cardinal Road; thence North 640 feet to the South
right of way of Standish Road; thence East 177 feet to
the East right of way of Club Road; thence North 190
feet; thence West 25 feet to the point of beginning;
as therein set out, have petitioned the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of
said improvement, and that the cost thereof be assessed upon
the real property of said district according to the benefits
received; and

WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $46,000.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots and parcels of
real property situated in Curb and Gutter Improvement District
No. 628 of Little Rock, Arkansas be assessed according to the
assessment list for said improvement district as the same now
remains in the office of the City Clerk and that the assessment
of benefits on each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be
collected by the Pulaski County Collector in successive annual
installments of four percentum (4 %) each, with the first annual
installment to be collected on or before February 21, 1972.
Section 2. The second and subsequent annual installments,
each in the amount aforesaid, shall be paid with the first install-
went of general taxes becoming due on the third Monday in February
of each calendar year until the whole of said assessment of bene-
fits shall be paid; provided, however, such annual payments may,
at the option of the taxpayer, be paid in installments along with
the installments of the ad valorem taxes.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
