AN ORDINANCE VACATING, CLOSING AND
ABANDONING THOSE ALLEYS AND A COURT-
YARD SITUATED IN BLOCK 19, CLEAGE'S
SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, LYING BETWEEN EAST 11TH AND
EAST 12TH STREETS, AND BETWEEN GEYER
AND DODGE STREETS; AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
WHEREAS, it is found and determined that those alleys
and a courtyard situated in Block 19, Cleage's Subdivision
to the City of Little Rock, lying between East 11th and
East 12th Streets and between Geyer and Dodge Streets, should
be vacated, closed and abandoned for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, the closing of said alleys and courtyard
will not adversely affect the public;
NOW, THEREFORF,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, under its authority
and powers, including those set forth in Section 19 -2304,
Arkansas Statutes, 1947, Annotated, hereby vacates, closes,
and abandons those alleys and a courtyard situated in Block 19,
Cleage's Subdivision to the City of Little Rock, lying between
East 11th and East 12th Streets, and between Geyer and Dodge
Streets.
SECTION 2. The said alleys and courtyard are not now
needed for public purposes, and the closing of said alleys
and courtyard will not adversely affect the public in that
other ways and areas are available for these purposes.
SECTION 3. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the deed records
of said County.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
