AN ORDINANCE AWARDING VARIOUS CONTRACTS;
APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the material
and labor to be used by the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive and responsible bidders
have been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
.to authorize the purchase of these items from the lowest responsive
and responsible bidders, and to make certain appropriations in
regard thereto.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsive and responsible bids on
various contracts are hereby accepted and contracts awarded as
follows:

SECTION 2. Upon delivery of the aforementioned items, comply-
ing in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid proposal,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary warrant(s) in payment of said
purchase price.
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
balance of the General Fund the following amounts for the following
departments:

1. $1,150.00 to the Department of Parks and Recreation for
the beautification of La Harpe Boulevard.
2. $3,363.00 to the Department of Parks and Recreation for
the purchase of fowl for the zoo.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take force and effect from
and after its passage.
