AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TRANSFERS WITHIN
THE 1965 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ACCOUNTS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
TAMREAS, the 1965 Street Improvement Program is nearing
completion; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to balance the accounts with-
in the 1965 Street Improvement Program funds; and
WHEREAS, there appears to be a surplus of $11,000.00
remaining of those monies reserved for the 1965 Street Improve-
ment Program by Ordinance No. 12,169 dated November 27, 1968.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Street Improvement fund $11,000.00 to be released to the General
Fund.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from Project
59 Mississippi Street, $8,446.00 to engineering account to de-
fray engineering costs incurred in the aforementioned project.
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from Project
55 Markham Street and Project 59 Mississippi Street the sum of
$34,570.00 to an account entitled "Engineering, Appraisals, Etc. ",
to defray the cost incurred in soil tests, appraisals, record-
ings and other miscellaneous items in connection with the total
street improvement program.
SECTION 4. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary war-
rant or warrants as necessary in payment of the aforementioned
project costs.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
