ORDINANCE NO. 12,426
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WATER PIPE LINE IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 133 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of two-
thirds or more in assessed value of real property located
within the territory hereinafter described have filed a peti-
tion praying that an improvement district be established for
the purposes hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has
heard all the parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained
that said petition was signed by two- thirds or more in assess-
ed value of the owners of real property within said territory,
now,,therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improve-
ment district embracin
Little Rock, County of
All of Tract
SUBDIVISION,
of the North
the West 100
thereof,
the following property in the City of
Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
8, WEST MARKHAM STREET
less the East 91.5 feet
100 feet thereof and less
feet of the North 300 feet
for the purposes of constructing, improving, repairing and
maintaining within the district a water pipe line distribu-
tion system to serve the inhabitants of said district and
constructing a water pipe line beyond the boundaries of the
district, if necessary, to make the desired connection with
the water distribution system of Little Rock, in the manner
and of the materials that the commissioners of the district
shall deem to be in the best interests of the district, and
the cost thereof to be assessed upon the real property above
described according to the benefits received.
Said district shall be known as "Water Pipe Improve-
ment District No. 133 of Little Rock, Arkansas, and

Wayne Essley, Joseph Gipson and Martin Dorman, who are owners
of real property in said district, are hereby named commis-
sioners and shall compose the Board of Improvement for said
district.
SECTION 2. The ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
