AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING WRECKER SERVICES TO
CLEAN ACCIDENT SCENES OF DEBRIS WHEN ENGAGED
TO TOW AWAY A MOTOR VEHICLE OR VEHICLES
INVOLVED THEREIN; MAKING THE VIOLATION THEREOF
A MISDEMEANOR; PROVIDING A PENALTY; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. It is hereby made a misdemeanor for any person
or persons acting for and on behalf of any wrecker company or
wrecker service engaged in removing a damaged vehicle or vehicles
from the public rights -of -way, whether under public or private
contract arrangement, to leave and allow to remain in said
rights -of -way any debris, glass and metal parts of the vehicle
or vehicles being so removed.
SECTION 2. Any person violating Section 1 hereof shall
upon conviction be fined in a sum not -.less than $25.00.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be codified as Section
39 -168 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock
and Sections "1" and "2" hereof shall therein be identified
as subsections (a) and (b) respectively.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
