AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING THE EAST 10 FEET
OF LOT 6, BLOCK 4, DESHON'S ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO BE USED AS A
PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SANITAPUZ SEWER FACILITIES; DIRECTING THE
CITY ATTORNEY TO BRING CONDEMNATION
PROCEEDINGS AGAINST SAID PARCEL OF PROPERTY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described parcel of real property is
hereby condemned for the purpose of establishing and providing an
easement for a sanitary sewer facility in connection with Model
Cities Project Contract No. 2, Sub-Project No. 4, and the City
Attorney is hereby ordered and directed to file in the proper
court a condemnation proceeding against the said parcel of real
property:
A 10 foot permanent easement described as
the East 10 feet of Lot 6, Block 4,
DeShon's Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas. The apparent owners are Mr. Leroy
Macon & Mrs. Barbara Macon.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is further authorized to secure
an Order of the Court allowing the City to take immediate possession
of the properties herein above described upon the posting of a bond
in an amount to be determined by the Court pending final determination
of the condemnation proceedings.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
